Security Perception of IoT Devices in Smart Homes

IoT devices are used frequently in smart homes. To better understand how users perceive the security of their homes, a model was developed and tested with multiple linear regression. A total 306 participants participated survey measurement items, out which 121 had already been using The results show that users’ awareness data breaches, ransomware attacks, personal information access device vulnerabilities have an effect on importance. On other hand, often do not check settings feel safe while devices. This paper provides overview perception devices, can help developers build raise among users.
